Blocked Flower Basket shawl

If you have good neighbors (like I do), living in a duplex can be a handy thing—for example, if you need someone to model your freshly blocked Flower Basket Shawl.

I would have liked to make it a couple repeats larger, but I had a deadline, so I hope this size will work.

Details in two previous posts.

Beautiful! And it seems like a really practical size - you could wear it without worrying about it getting in the way. I'll bet it will bring a lot of enjoyment!

Again, thank you Julia! My former colleague mentioned bringing it on her trip to England later this summer. So I think it could work as something a little dressy but not too warm.

The shawl is beautiful! I'm still slogging away on mine but it's going to be HUGE! The last one I made is nice but I wanted a really all-enveloping cuddly one for when it's really chilly. I'm kind of sorry it is hardly ever really chilly around here!

Thanks, Linda! Maybe you'll be able to tie your shawl in the back like Myrna Stahman illustrates in her book on p. 3 (and the back cover).

By the way, Myrna is working on another book. I'm not sure when it will be coming out, but she's a member of a knitted lace list I subscribed to a few months ago, and has mentioned it a few times.
